San Diego Beacon Community and Health Information Exchange Update
The San Diego Beacon Health Information Exchange will launch in early December starting with selected pilot sites at the following organizations:
- Children’s Primary Care Medical Group
- Rady Children’s Hospital
- Sharp Community Medical Group
- UC San Diego Health System
- VA San Diego Healthcare System

Childhood Immunization Text Messaging Pilot Study
Testing a texting reminder to parents to keep their children up-to-date for immunizations. This study is being conducted at selected sites from the following clinic systems:

Emergency Medical Services
Linking ambulances and hospitals so data is transmitted earlier for critically ill patients, such as those suffering a heart attack.
